Compare finished-module transport width against the site gate and the crane lift plan.
Independent alternative sourcing
GridBridge Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner. A search for lester buildings starts a procurement brief for a steel warehouse, workshop, or hangar. The desk asks factories for quotations on alternative systems and does not supply the searched brand.
Compare finished-module transport width against the site gate and the crane lift plan.
Compare pack density with the weather exposure created by on-site assembly of wall and roof panels.
Compare the folded transport envelope with the opened module dimensions and connection sequence.
Compare clear span, eave height, and bay spacing on a rigid frame before any package price is read.
Record building use, occupancy, and the authority having jurisdiction. Add design wind speed, wind exposure category, ground snow load, and seismic design category when the project engineer already has them. A missing load does not become zero. It stays an open item that every quotation must flag.
Ask each supplier to identify the primary frame, whether the proposal uses built-up plate, hot-rolled steel or cold-formed steel, and the secondary framing layout of purlin and girt. State the insulated metal panel or other roof and wall assembly, the target thermal transmittance, and any fire-resistance rating the occupancy requires. Those lines stop a shell drawing from being compared with a finished enclosure.
Write quantity as building sets or modules, name the destination, and state who owns freight, unloading, and the foundation interface. A delivered frame and an installed building are different quotations. Taxes, permits, and site utilities stay on their own lines so a low unit figure is not read as a project total.
These cards are buyer-defined options for Steel Warehouses, Workshops and Hangars. They are not stock, and they are not a statement that a named brand system is available.
Use this option when the brief is about aisle width, eave height, collateral load from sprinklers or rooftop units, and a rigid frame that keeps the interior free of intermediate columns. Door schedule and design live load on the mezzanine, if any, belong in the same note.
Open building optionsRecord crane or hoist assumptions, floor loading, and whether the quotation stops at the shell or includes liner and ventilation.
Record door type, tail height, and the clear span that must stay open. Wind on the door is a design item, not a brochure line.
Record machine height, apron drainage, and corrosion exposure before asking for a coating specification.
Dock count, truck court, and design dead load from rooftop equipment set the frame, not a generic square-foot allowance.
Bay spacing follows the service pit or lift, and the foundation interface has to be drawn with that equipment.
The door opening can govern the end-wall frame. Ask for the door reaction to be listed with the primary frame.
Eave height must clear the tallest machine. Chemical storage, if any, changes coating and ventilation questions.
Share specifications, quantity, and destination. GridBridge Sourcing will ask factories for quotations on that scope. Code acceptance and delivery stay with the supplier documents and your project team.
Qualified business buyers
The desk can line up factory questions after the building brief is written. The ceiling stays at up to 3%.
Eligibility applies to qualified business buyers and is confirmed after we review your product, quantity, destination, and sourcing requirements.
